 College Q&A with Washington & Jefferson students

  • February 18th at 5:30pm-6:30pm. Free! Ask questions about clubs, campus life, admissions and more.

Application Course with Penn State University

  • March 21st at 1pm-3pm. Free! Learn how to make a successful college application and have the opportunity to complete a free PSU application. Snacks and drinks provided. Students are encouraged to bring own laptops if possible.

SAT Mastery with Huntingdon Learning Center (Cost: $150; Scholarships available)- PREREGISTRATION IS REQUIRED

  • SAT Overview: April 13th at 6:30pm
  • Full Length Practice SAT: April 18th at 10am-2pm
  • SAT PREP Classes: April 27-30 at 6:30pm

Monthly Teen Programs

Teen Events 2015

  • Teen Council:Join Teen Council to help with events, suggest materials, volunteer and make Citizens Library even more teen friendly. Meets every 1st Tuesday of the month at 5pm.
  • Fandom Free(For All):  Come talk about your favorite fandoms, cosplaying, your OTPs and discover new pop culture obsessions. Tardis parking available. Meets every 2nd Wednesday of the month at 4pm.
  • Tween Book Club:Read, discuss and do an activity centered around the book of the month. Check Citizens website calendar for book information. Grades 6-8. Meets every 3rd Thursday of the month at 4:30pm.
  • Video Game Club:  Play tournaments against others and get a chance to try out the newest video games before anyone else at the library. Grades 6-8. Meets every 4th Friday of the month at 3:30pm.

Test Prep Courses
FREE with your library card, you have access to severeal standardized test prep courses like SATs, ACTs, GEDs, LSATs and Praxis. Courses range from 6 to 12 weeks depending on how far you want to go. Also available are job search help, computer classes and more! Courses are available here.
