The Affordable Care Act is a comprehensive health care reform law passed in 2010 that allows everyone
to obtain health care coverage regardless of preexisting conditions. The open enrollment period, the time
during which individuals can sign up for a Qualified Health Plan, ends on March 31, 2014.
