Workforce Development
Are you looking for a job?
Maybe you need to improve your skills for your current job?
The libraries in Washington County want to help you find employment or extra sources of income.
Every library offers free wi-fi, as well as multiple computers with Microsoft Word and its resume templates, printers and high speed internet service. This makes it easy for you to stop by and fill out a job application or create a resume on your lunch break. If you need help finding a webpage or setting up an email account, there are staff to assist you.
If you are looking to improve your skills, you have come to the right place!
In addition to having access to over 750,000 items in 20 libraries through our WAGGIN Network, we offer Gale Courses which lets every library user in our 3 County region take 10 week courses on a variety of subjects like Excel, and Quickbooks.
Don't forget our Media Center!
You can use the Media Center to record your practice job interviews, record your own YouTube videos or Podcasts to show off your skills to potential clients or employers.
